Wird ("the app", "we") is a Quran reading companion. We respect your privacy and collect only what the app needs to work. We do not show ads and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Information we collect

• Account details - your name and email address, provided when you sign in with Apple. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we only ever see the private relay address. Used to create and secure your account.
• Content you create - your reading progress, the reflections you write, the circles you create or join, circle names, and covenant text. This content is shared with the members of circles you choose to join, which is the core purpose of the app.

What we do NOT collect

• No location data, contacts, photos, or device identifiers for advertising.
• No third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

How we use your information

Solely to provide the app: to maintain your account, sync your reading progress and reflections among the members of your circles, and deliver the app's features. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

Storage and service providers

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (our backend/database provider) and Apple (for Sign in with Apple). These providers process data only to help us operate the app.

Sharing

We never sell your personal data. Your reflections and progress are visible only to members of circles you join. We do not share your data with anyone other than the service providers above.

Data retention and deletion

You may delete your account or request deletion of your data at any time by emailing moneebssayed@gmail.com. We will delete your personal data within 30 days of a verified request.

Children

Wird is rated 4+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for any purpose beyond operating the app, and never for advertising.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version on this page with an updated date.
